Neelum Valley

Kashmir is famous as a heaven on earth the person visited it, compares it with heaven and surely its looks like heaven. From Muzaffarabad there are two belts separating by Pak Indo borders, one valley consists of Neelum valley which is lead by Neelum road till Taobutt the other belt is on Srinagar road which is famous as Leepa valley the Srinagar road is contracted at side of River Jhelum, before the border last village is Chakothi beyond the LOF there are most beautiful part of Kashmir which are Baramulla, Uri, Pattan, and Srinagar all these areas are occupied by India.

Neelum Valley is located within Pakistan’s border “this is 100% independent Kashmir occupied by Pakistan” said by well of Kashmiri person during our conversation with him. Neelum valley is at the side of river whole road is leading with river till Sharda. It is lush green low populated valley. Everywhere you find crystal clear pure water fall from peaks water is so cold and able to drink directly. Average height is 7000 meters and temperature is 25* to 30* during night you have to take blanket on you. There are few border areas on which most famous side is Teetwal, River Neelum separating Kashmir in to two parts a occupied and Azad Kashmir.

The spots visit able during summer is Sharda, Athmuqam, Kel, Sardaran, and Taobutt. You can see bit difference of culture and living style from Sharda to onward, which is quite closer to the” Hunza’s” ethnic group. The local languages are Hindko and Kahmiri while Nomadic Gujjars speak Gojiri they live a proper Nomadic live which is much closer to UK’s “Nomadic groups. “Irish and Romanian Gypsies” the difference is language, they mostly took stay on green and grassy areas which are present from Kel to onward mostly they took stay in Taobutt during summer.

Every year thousands of tourists from all over the world took flights for Pakistan only to visit Neelum valley although there are several beauty attractions in all over the Pakistan which are locally and internationally famous thousands of tourists forced by beauty to have a visit of entire precious spots. There is another type of tourists who ever come for mountain expeditions they usually came in Gilgit region on Karakoram mountain range.
